Students participate in Learning Activities that assist the student in obtaining Critical Thinking skills such as approved UCR courses, faculty-mentored research, campus career and self-betterment workshops, and LinkedIn Learning courses.

Students participate in Experiential Learning Activities that promote active engagement with campus clubs, internships, jobs, undergraduate research, and more to apply learning to real-world situations.

Students engage in Career Management Activities designed for career exploration and goal setting. Students also write a mandatory reflection essay allowing them to articulate the skills and abilities they obtained by participating in the Critical Thinking competency activities and how their experiences fit with the competency definition and their own career or graduate school goals.
