Students participate in Learning Activities that assist in obtaining Career & Self-Development skills such as approved UCR courses, campus career and self-betterment workshops, and LinkedIn Learning courses.

Students participate in Experiential Learning Activities that include engagement with campus clubs, internships, jobs, undergraduate research, and more to apply learning to real-world situations.

Students engage in Career Management Activities designed for career exploration and goal setting. Students also write a mandatory reflection essay allowing them to articulate the skills and abilities they obtained by participating in the Career & Self-Development competency activities and how their experiences fit with the competency definition and their own career or graduate school goals.
